Coal Engineering Pty Ltd has been in operation since 2005 where it started as a one man mobile welding business and has grown into a specialised engineering facility. It offers a licenced sandblasting and spray painting facility coupled with mine site maintenance and metal fabrication services within a large and modern workshop, equipped with up to date equipment and machinery.
Situated in Capella, Coal Engineering Pty Ltd is centrally located in the Bowen Basin, thereby enabling quick access to the many mining operations in the Central Highlands. Our central location means reduced freight costs for our clients and less transit time when sending work into our workshop for off-site maintenance.
Our team is led by Managing Director Wes Struckel who has over 20 years experience in the mining and metal fabrication industry. Wes is supported by a team of trade qualified boilermakers and apprentices. Staff development is a key focus with not only the training of apprentices, but also in the support of tradesmen and their professional development goals.
Coal Engineering is proactive in working with our clients to accommodate their schedules and deadlines whilst not compromising our responsibility to safety and fatigue management. We currently operate six days a week with the capability to offer night shift and emergency call outs when required. We look to act as a one stop shop within the maintenance and fabrication industry and pride ourselves on developing an operation that is mindful of the future impact on the environment.
